Logistics Assistant
The position assists the Logistics Manager in defining, maintaining and coordinating an efficient warehousing system for material storage, incoming and outgoing goods from warehouse, ensuring regular flows and minimizing costs and lead times.

Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare stock replenishment orders and enter into stock system on a regular basis.
- Liaise with suppliers and customer service team on status of orders.
- Liaise with clearing agents & inspection agencies on import documentation.
- Assist in the handling of custom clearance issues and handle documentation.
The applicant should be self motivated and have good IT & people skills, experience in Information Systems, Supply Chain Logistics, working with customs and possesses a minimum of a Diploma in IT from a recognized institution.

Customer Service Representative
The position supports Customer Account Managers, as part of the sales team, in reaching their shareholder targets on all SKF platforms (mainly on bearings, and service), being proactive in enquiries, quotations and in pricing processes while acting and leading continuous improvement on existing and new processes.

- Maintain, develop customer relationships and develop opportunities on all SKF platforms on CRM
- Part of customer account team shareholders targets and contribute to marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of complete SKF portfolio
- Manage the order handling process, leads, opportunities and enquiries follow-up
- Monitor customer accounts payable.
The applicant should be knowledgeable on value selling have experience in sales, customer relationship and possesses a minimum of a Diploma in IT/Sales/Marketing/Business or equivalent from a recognized institution.

The position seeks to grow the distributor business profitably through expanding the geographical and industry presence, increase SKF brand awareness, developing operational excellence and value added capabilities within the SKF Distribution network in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan, Angola & Eritrea.

- Participates in annual sales budgeting.

The applicant should be well spoken, exude professionalism, have experience in sales and customer relationship and posses a minimum of a Diploma in mechanical engineering or business administration or equivalent.

The position seeks to develop the business and support the growth plan of the Mining Mineral Processing & Cement industry segment in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan, Angola & Eritrea in conjunction with the management, sales and key account team.

The position seeks to develop the business and support the growth plan of the Mining Mineral Processing & Cement industry segment in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan, Angola & Eritrea in conjunction with the management, sales and key account team.
Key responsibilities include.
- Complete knowledge of the MMPC market segment and plan the segment’s sales strategy and targets.
- Develop enquiries for SKF products in this segment by analyzing needs and forward to relevant departments
- Performs joint customer visits together with the SKF team and distributors.
- Plans and executes product launches, marketing communication and promotion of offers to customers
- Participates in annual sales budgeting. Is responsible to meet sales target YOY. Prepares monthly reports
The applicant should have 5 years minimum experience in a busy maintenance environment within the Cement or Mining sector.
The applicant should be able to travel frequently.
The applicant should posses a Degree in mechanical engineering.

- Working to total quality management principles, ensuring zero defect objectives and customer satisfaction
- Is accountable for actively developing him/herself and contributing to team efforts
- Participates in annual sales budgeting.
