Procurement Officer
Location: APHIApIus Rift Valley, Nakuru

Job Summary:
The Procurement Officer will exercise considerable independent judgment in making purchasing decisions in accordance with FHI 360 and USAID policies and procedures, plan, prioritize, assign, supervise and review work of staff responsible for purchasing including procurement of supplies, equipment and services.
Research on new suppliers liaise with suppliers following market trends to ensure the organization gets best value.
Project stock levels, negotiate prices with suppliers, follow up with
suppliers concerning delivery times, prepare reports to management and
serve on evaluation committee for APHiAplus Rift Valley.
Minimum Requirement Standards:
BA/BS with 3-5 years’ experience in a procurement role within the NGO sector, or a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management or relevant field with 5-7 years progressive experience in a procurement role within the NGO sector. Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) Qualified.
Experience of using professional procurement tools and techniques,
experience in running a structured tender exercises for products or
services, have lead successful supplier negotiations with third party
companies, experienced negotiator who has successfully delivered supply
solutions for a large project and have an understanding of the overall
USAID rules and regulation and the regulatory environment in which FHI
360 works.
Logistics Assistant — Warehousing and Distributions
Location: APHIApIus Rift Valley, Nakuru

Job Summary:
The Logistics Assistant is responsible for project warehouse operations including receiving, issuance and coordination of stock movement in an effective and timely manner of commodities in APHIApIus Rift Valley.
Minimum Requirement Standards:
Diploma in Business Administration or Purchasing or relevant field with 1-3 years progressive relevant experience or Higher National Diploma with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Logistics Management, or Purchasing and Supply Management.

Procurement Coordinator
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Job Summary:
- The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for ensuring quality, efficient, effective and proactive administrative support services for the FHI 360 procurement function.
- Responsible for keeping track of the stages through which each order is are at until receipt and payment.
- Assists in soliciting for Request for Proposals (RFP’s), formal bids, price quotations, annual maintenance agreements and blanket preparing purchase orders.
Minimum Requirement Standards:
A Higher National Diploma in Procurement or Business Administration or
related field with at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
or Bachelor’s degree in the same filed with 1-3 years progressive
experience in administration, procurement and office management.
