Our client an international manufacturing firm in the packaging industry is looking for a qualified Business Head candidate in sales and marketing.
The ideal candidate will be in charge of planning and carrying out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of the company in accordance with agreed business plans.
Duties and Responsibilities
Location: Nairobi
Our client an international manufacturing firm in the packaging industry is looking for a qualified Business Head candidate in sales and marketing.
The ideal candidate will be in charge of planning and carrying out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of the company in accordance with agreed business plans.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieving stiff sales and margin targets within the East African region including Malawi and Ethiopia.
- Long term growth in sales and Margin
- Enhancing customer and distributor engagement through on-going value addition programs and relationship management
- Establishing new distribution channels
- Working capital management inventory and collections.
- Managing sales teams and distributors
Experience and skills
- Over 10 years sales experience in East Africa
- Experience with direct sales to manufacturing customers is a must.
- Distributor sales management experience
- Effectively managing sales teams for a minimum of four years.
- Graduate preferably an engineer with an MBA or relevant business training
